Abstract

A compendium of the main notes on the history and organization of Angiology and Vascular Surgery in Matanzas is presented, which serves as a worthy tribute to all those professionals who, from their imprint and personal sacrifice, contributed to the development of the aforementioned specialty.

Arístides Lázaro García Herrera, Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Matanza

Doctor en Medicina en el año 1989 Especialista de primer grado en Angiología y Cirugía Vascular 1993. Especialista de segundo grado en Angiología y Cirugía Vascular en 2003. Doctor en Ciencias Médicas en 2009.  Profesor Titular en el año 2011. Rector de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Matanzas en el año 2016. Investigador titular en el año 2018. Especialista de segundo grado en Organización y Administración en Salud en el año 2020. Master en Ciencias de la Educación Médica en el 2023
