Abstract

Thromboangiitis obliterans is a peripheral vascular disease that damages the medium- and small-caliber arteries in the infrapopliteal region, as well as in the distal portions of the upper extremities in the patient affected by it. In order to present a case affected by this entity, the method was applied of presenting the case clinically, as well as describing its symptoms and the approach to follow to alleviate the complications of the disease in its acute phase. The clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of this disease are reviewed in this case presentation. As a conclusion, the achievements are mentioned as they were obtained during the patient's evolution, based on the therapy followed with the patient.
